Fall … Bring it!
North Fork folk are just gearing up for busy season while our South Fork counterparts are winding down. You’ve got Harvest Parties at every Winery, pumpkin picking at the farms, cider happenings (either hard cider or the hot variety). And our restaurants, with their fall farm-to-table menu selections, bring it all together.
It’s such a great time of year
You ready for my picks? Here we go!
A great resource for what is going on at the Vineyards and their Harvest Soirees is the Long Island Wine Council‘s website.
A great resource for all that is dining is right here on northforker. Be sure to check back for North Fork happenings at the farms, restaurants and vineyards.
And here is a guide for pumpkin picking.
If you want to just kick back and relax at one of our lovely wineries, here are my choices:
Martha Clara Vineyards in Jamesport, where the Big “E” Entenmann family farm is on the market and listed by yours truly
Sherwood House in Jamesport
Bedell Cellars in Cutchogue and their Corey Creek tasting room in Southold
Croteaux Vineyards in Southold (sorry, they’re sold out for the season!)
One Woman Wines and Vineyards in Southold
