Famously the site of Bridgehampton Polo for 20 years, the 115-acre Two Trees Farm will soon be home to 12 new homes, with five fronting Long Pond, dubbed Two Trees Estates. Developer David Walentas purchased the North-of-the-Highway property in the 1990s. Walentas subdivided the land in recent years and is planning to build a number of homes, including three by Fleetwood & McMullan, Architects and one by Eric Woodard Architect. Marders has been enlisted to create the landscapes, tying together the 12 unique homes, each with pool and tennis. The largest parcel will be 9.7 acres while the other 11 will range between 1.8 and 3 acres. Two Trees Farm remains on a 68-acre agricultural preserve and scenic easements are in place. “I don’t know of any other place in the Hamptons that is built around an equestrian facility that is new construction,” says Christopher J. Burnside, an associate broker with Brown Harris Stevens of the Hamptons, the exclusive representative of Two Trees Estates. “You can literally have your horse at Two Trees and ride up to your house for lunch.” Two Trees Farm itself is on the market for $25 million and includes a 2,500-square-foot farmhouse with pool and tennis court.
