I know when most people think of home design, sexy concepts don’t always come to mind. But I can’t help myself.

I think about real estate differently than most.

Here are three items that will turn your abode from ho hum to…va va voom!

After you install a wet bathroom or a fabulous chef’s kitchen, all you will need is some privacy.

La Cornue Grand Palais 180

Yes, just, yes.  That is all.

I absolutely love the Grand Palais 180 from La Cornue’s Chataeu Line, pictured above. State-of-art technology meets old-fashioned design in the product’s from this artisinal French company.

Like its description says, this six-foot counter and stovetop commands respect in any kitchen.

Find it at the Williams Sonoma store in the Bridgehampton Commons.

Bathroom

It’s all about the open and sleek “wet” bathroom.  The term wet bathroom means there is no separate shower space, which gives the room a sauna-like feel. You’ll feel like you are showering in a steamy oasis in a room like the one pictured above by Porcelanosa.

Get your own wet bathroom from Blackman, which has a showroom in Southampton as well as a Riverhead location.

Sleek closets

I am inspired by the master closet in this Murray Hill Townhouse designed by SPG Architects. This is a space I want to spend time in. It’s simple, sleek and  sexy.

John Bjornen of Bjornen Design Homes & Interiors is the ultimate in closet design and all things fabulous.  We used to work together once upon a fashion time.  He is the bomb.com![/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
